Kit 1: Color Digital Camera Kit

Supports upright or inverted microscopes. Upright microscopes require trinocular head.
Items included: Jentopik Camera and coupler, if needed (in blue above)

Camera Options Max Resolution Speed Cooling
Jenoptik Prokyon 2.07 megapixel 120fps Fanless Cooling
Jenoptik Kapella 2.1 megapixel 60fps Fanless Cooling
Jenoptik Subra 2.1 megapixel 30fps Uncooled

Live Image Measurement

This kit allows for live image measurement and manual image stitching.

Stage Not Included

It does not include a stage so special sample holders are not included.

Kit 2: Color Digital Camera and XY Encoded Stage Kit

Upgrade a microscope already in your lab for live image measurement.

Supports upright microscopes only. Inverted microscopes not supported. Requires trinocular head.
Items included: Jentopik Camera, manual XY encoded stage, and coupler, if needed (in blue above)

Camera Options Max Resolution Speed Cooling
Jenoptik Prokyon 2.07 megapixel 120fps Fanless Cooling
Jenoptik Kapella 2.1 megapixel 60fps Fanless Cooling
Jenoptik Subra 2.1 megapixel 30fps Uncooled

Live Image Measurement

This kit allows for live image measurement and manual image stitching. It includes an encoded, non-motorized, stage.

Sample Holders

It includes a standard slide holder for slide up to 50mm x 75mm and a rotating slide holder for slides up to 25mm x 75mm slides.

About Encoded Stages

An encoded stage automatically reports the location of the current field of view to BIOQUANT. This simplifies navigating the section at high magnification with a live image. The location of the current field of view is displayed on an Overview map in real-time. Encoded stages are still moved by hand. They are not motorized.

Kit 3: Color Digital Camera and XY Motorized Stage Kit

Upgrade a microscope already in your lab to perform automated slide scanning.

Supports upright or inverted microscopes. Upright microscope requires trinocular head.
Items included: Jentopik Camera, XYZ motorized stage, and coupler, if needed (in blue above)

Camera Options Max Resolution Speed Cooling
Jenoptik Prokyon 2.07 megapixel 120fps Fanless Cooling
Jenoptik Kapella 2.1 megapixel 60fps Fanless Cooling
Jenoptik Subra 2.1 megapixel 30fps Uncooled

Live Image Measurement

This kit supports live image measurement with automatic position tracking in BIOQUANT OSTEO and BIOQUANT Life Science. The location of the current field of view is automatically reported to BIOQUANT and displayed on an Overview map in real-time.

bioquant scan support

This kit supports single-slide automatic scanning with manual focus correction if the BIOQUANT SCAN add-on has been purchased. The scan area is mapped out with a low power objective then scanned with a high-power objective.

Sample Holders

This kit includes a standard slide holder for slides up to 50mm x 75mm and a rotating slide holder for slides up to 50mm x 75mm slides.

About Motorized Stages

Motorized stages can be controlled by the BIOQUANT SCAN add-on to automatically collect images. Without automatic focus correction, the focus must be manually adjusted when changing fields of view.

In BIOQUANT OSTEO or BIOQUANT Life Science, motorized stages are controlled by the joystick on the controller or a movement toolbar within the software. The location of the current field of view is displayed on an Overview map in real-time.

Kit 4: Camera and XYZ Autofocus Motorized Stage Kit

Upgrade a microscope already in your lab to perform automated multi-slide scanning.

Supports upright or inverted microscopes. Upright microscope requires trinocular head.
Items included: Jentopik Camera, XYZ motorized stage with autofocus, and coupler (in blue above)

Camera Options Max Resolution Speed Cooling
Jenoptik Prokyon 2.07 megapixel 120fps Fanless Cooling
Jenoptik Kapella 2.1 megapixel 60fps Fanless Cooling
Jenoptik Subra 2.1 megapixel 30fps Uncooled

Live Image Measurement

This kit supports live image measurement with automatic position tracking in BIOQUANT OSTEO and BIOQUANT Life Science. The location of the current field of view is automatically reported to BIOQUANT and displayed on an Overview map in real-time.

Bioquant Scan support

This kit supports multi-slide automatic scanning with automatic focus correction if the BIOQUANT SCAN add-on has been purchased. Up to 8 scan areas are mapped out with a low power objective then scanned automatically with a high-power objective. Automatic scanning of well plates is also supported.

Sample Holders

It includes a standard slide holder for slide up to 50mm x 75mm and a rotating slide holder for slides up to 50mm x 75mm slides. It includes a 4 slide holder for 25mm x 75mm slides. A well plate holder is available for inverted microscopes. A large format 50mm x 100mm slide holder is also available.

About Motorized Stages and automatic focus

Motorized stages can be controlled by the BIOQUANT SCAN add-on to automatically collect images. Automatic focus uses a secondary camera to measure the focus in the current field of view. This allows BIOQUANT SCAN to correct focus automatically as the stage moves.

In BIOQUANT OSTEO or BIOQUANT Life Science, motorized stages are controlled by the joystick on the controller or a movement toolbar within the software. The location of the current field of view is displayed on an Overview map in real-time.
